Lasting Therapy was established in 2005 and is located in the quiet, friendly community of St. Albert.

Our clinic has soft lighting, heated tables, mood enhancing music and an elegant atmosphere to ensure the perfect ambience for the healing benefits of massage therapy.
All of our massage therapists are registered and have the required 2200 hrs of education. They continue to upgrade their skills and learn new techniques providing the best possible treatment.

Meet the Team


Kara Newman, RMT


Is one of the founding owners of Lasting Therapy and has been a dedicated massage therapist for almost 20 years.  Kara provides a therapeutic treatment with a hint of relaxation.  She wants her clients to escape the everyday stresses and take time for them.  She also trained in pre-natal massage and hot stone therapy.

Kelsey Funnell, RMT

Certified Level l & Level ll AIRPWT™

Kelsey is one of the founding owners of Lasting Therapy and has been practicing massage therapy since 2004. She recently switched modalities and is currently offering Shockwave Therapy.

Talia Davidson, RMT


Talia graduated from CDI College with 2400 hours. She is trained in deep tissue, therapeutic and relaxation massage.  She likes to focus on treatments that involve neck and shoulder tension as well as sciatic pain. She specializes in my myofascial cupping and is always impressed with the results. 

Charlene Sykes, RMT


Charlene has been a massage therapist since 2015.  Her massage treatments are therapeutic and deep tissue involving myofascial techniques as well as some stretching.  She is also trained in cupping, hot stone therapy and pre-natal massage.  Currently she is studying Cranial Sacral Therapy.

Rizaldy Parreno, RMT


A recent grad from Alberta College of Massage Therapy, Rizaldy is dedicated in helping clients get relief from massage therapy.  He is trained in relaxation, Swedish massage, deep tissue treatments and some fascia release techniques.  He excels at alleviating discomfort and providing a relaxed body and mind.
